Singing, dancing, laughing – and saving the oceans along the way: At the final performance on May 25, 2025, students from Vienna’s eight pilot schools presented imaginative plays on the theme of water on the stage of GRG 23.
The performance took place as part of our Interreg SK-AT project CLIM_SED , in which interested Viennese teachers participated in theater education workshops on the topic of “Environment & Sustainability” with a special focus on the area of “water,” and thus learned didactic approaches for implementing the topic in theater education in STEM subjects.
Among glittering jellyfish, brave mermaids, and a critical look at plastic waste, they demonstrated that art not only entertains but moves. The District Mayor of the 23rd district also praised the young people’s creativity in his welcoming remarks!
