On April 29, 2025, class 3B from Volksschule Prandaugasse met with their partner class from Senica for a special adventure at the Ekozentrum Čunovo as part of the school partnership within the Interreg project eTOM SK-AT. The young explorers immersed themselves in an interactive world of fascinating natural sciences: they discovered the rich aromas of local herbs, jumped like grasshoppers, and gained insights into the lives of beavers and fish inhabiting the unique waters of the Danube wetlands.
A particular highlight was a realistic tractor simulator, where the children could try out their driving skills while learning about the principles of sustainable agriculture. On a guided tour through the wetlands, they observed the local flora and fauna, gaining valuable hands-on knowledge directly in the nature. This joint excursion offered the students a lively and hands-on environmental education experience.
