Our Erasmus+ project „enterEurope VET1“ enabled pupils and trainees from nine Viennese vocational schools to visit partner schools in Norway, France, Poland, and Germany in the summer semester 2025. A strong focus was placed on lived inclusion: visually impaired learners from the Federal Institute for the Blind and apprentices from Viennese vocational schools also took part.
Whether through peer learning in Bordeaux with a focus on sustainability, nature-based and democratic education in Bergen, or hands-on internships in Hanover – these mobilities demonstrated just how diverse and future-oriented vocational education in Europe can be. The stays were complemented by company visits, offering participants valuable insights into the local economy and world of work.
