Through the CORE project, City of Vienna created innovative approaches to make the lives and the integration of refugees in the City from the very first day on easier. Various offers to facilitate integration from public and private institutions, organisations and initiatives were pooled and refugees were actively involved in the further development of new opportunities. CORE brought people and their competences into focus; then helped them to become experts in their own fields so that integration in Vienna became something that is created by everyone.
