In October, a group of Viennese students visited Bratislava for a day of learning and cultural exchange with Slovakian peers.
After a warm welcome, the students took public transport to the Ekozentrum Čunovo, an innovative environmental education center in Bratislava. There, they explored interactive exhibits, participated in outdoor activities, and worked together in Austrian-Slovakian small groups. The day ended with a picnic outdoors and a playful city rally through the old town.
“What I liked most was that we did so many things together – and that we could understand each other without many words,” one student shared enthusiastically.
The students returned to Vienna full of new impressions – a day that showed how learning together across borders connect, inspire, and also can create friendships.
