Kindergartens and primary schools often act as if they were two completely different organisations that have difficulty ‘docking’ into each another.
As a consequence, the following central ideas will be pursued in the project:
- Which qualitative and quantitative approaches to elementary education are there? Are there support mechanisms for socially disadvantaged families or families with a migration background?
- How can a trusting relationship be built up with parents? In particular, to socially disadvantaged families or families with a migration background?
- Which peer-to-peer mentoring approaches (parent-parent, kindergarten teacher-primary school teacher, child-child) are there?
- Which factors act either for or against the setting up of a comprehensive interlinked transition phase?
