Short description:

The BOUNCE BACK project develops and implements measures to promote the resilience and life skills of primary and secondary school students (focus on grades 3 – 7) in Austria and Hungary. Self-efficacy, emotional and social states, stressful events and content communicated through the media are prepared didactically in such a way that teachers, parents and students deepen the skills necessary to cope with life. The central focus is the development of an educational program of LIFE-SKILLS PEDAGOGICS, the transfer into teaching as well as into the professionalization and advice of those affected.

Offers & activities for Viennese schools (grades 1-8):

  • 1 cross border “Life Skills Pedagogy” – a guide for teachers of Austria and Hungary
  • 16 workshops on life skills pedagogy for teachers of project schools and their professionalization
  • 100 coaching and consulting sessions tailored to the needs of the involved school leaders and leadership teams
  • 30 learning settings and teaching materials on the skills required to cope with life for use in school practice
  • 32 workshops for school classes in the areas of creativity, resilience or values
  • 16 parent information events on life skills pedagogy and for good cooperation with the school
  • 10 study visits for teachers and school management for cross-border professional exchange between schools in Vienna, Burgenland and western Hungary
