Child care in all its facets is an extensive field that requires multi-professional competences from different occupational groups. The demand for all-day care is on the increase. But how it should it be organised is a basic challenge that many European countries face.
How will the differing models fulfil the wide demands for all-day care? There are elements from pedagogy, education, social-culture, economy, and even business management involved and they are all playing different roles sometimes even in contradiction to each other.
In order to initiate new change und learning processes the project focuses on shifting the perspective and getting to know different European solutions. The multi-professional participant group consists of teachers, elementary pedagogy experts, as well as participants from education management, psychology and adult education.
The goal of the project is to use these different perspectives as a basis for an exchange of experience and knowledge and to generate key ideas that will lead to successful all-day care.
