At the end of March 2025, cool “boot camps” began for six pilot school locations of our Interreg SK-AT project ICE Robotics, focusing on the three key topics of robotics, AI, and 3D printing.
Secondary school students from Bratislava and Vienna are learning together through mutual visits and our “boot camp workshops.” The school partnerships we establish are intended to be established long-term, with a focus on new technologies, particularly the application and use of educational robots and artificial intelligence (AI).
Interested teachers from the participating pilot schools already attended our first preparatory workshops on the integration of 3D printing, robotics, and AI into everyday school life. They received three modern 3D printers and robotics sets to implement in practice with their students. The equipment acquired through the project will be used to prepare the school classes for the Robotics League, which will take place later in the project. A new round of bootcamps is planned for the 2025/2026 school year with additional schools.
