Workshop on established and new methods in career guidance

Good practices, new methods and innovative tools for career guidance were on the agenda of the JOBITY workshop. Teachers from 11 secondary schools and polytechnic schools in Vienna visited our European Office on 14 October and 12 November 2025 to gain new inspiration for supporting their pupils in their career choices.

The workshop addressed methods for grades 7 to 9 (from basic to advanced) with a focus on the phases ‘Identifying the own interests and strengths’, ‘Exploring jobs’, ‘Benefiting from real-life experiences’ and ‘Successfully managing job applications’.

Following its launch last year, this was the second workshop iteration within the Interreg AT-CZ project JOBITY. As in previous years, all participants received the JOBITY folder containing the full collection of methods for career guidance.

As a pre-Christmas bonus, many teachers took advantage of the opportunity to book our individual career guidance coaching for their pupils.
