The final event of the 3D printing workshop series of our Interreg project eTOM ATHU took place at the Board of Education on June 5, 2025. The event offered a special opportunity for project partners, teachers, and students to present the knowledge they had acquired in the past months and the practical projects they had implemented.
As part of the cross-border workshop series, the participating educators first gained basic knowledge in using the Prusa Slicer and Tinkercad software and then deepened their knowledge to an advanced level in the field of 3D design and printing. At the closing event, Viennese students presented their self-made 3D-printed objects, which combined creativity, technical know-how, and pedagogical application.
In addition, the participants learned about various Maker Boxes, such as the Maker’s Red Box, with a special focus on the “Sustainable City” module.
Open discussions and a lively exchange of experiences rounded off the Maker Fest.
