The goal of the project was to help teachers to see and acknowledge diversity in their classrooms and to use it as a positive tool in their teaching. During the project, the partners developed a ‘Common Frame of Reference’ regarding diversity and ‘best practice’ teaching examples and materials from the various pilot schools involved in the project were collected, shared and promoted in all schools. In-service training was carried out to equip teachers to become ‘Diversity Coaches’.
