Projekt Dauer | 01.08.2018 – 31.12.2022 |
In schools and universities in Austria and Slovakia, there is currently a lack of interest and a lack of well-trained teachers in the MINT/STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology).
This creates a shortage in the labor market, although there is an increasing demand for STEM staff throughout the region.
Robotics in education has proven to be a valuable tool for practical learning, not only for robotics itself but also more generally for STEM topics. RoboCoop is a unique multidisciplinary project, which will use the potential of robotics in cross-border educational activities to raise interest in STEM topics, with a focus on female students.
